but a bunch of it, $11.3 mil was transferred to the National Republican Congressional Cmte and $400k to Ohio Republican Party-Federal Account. He also may have helped them with lists and mailings.

I gotta say this for James Sensenbrenner. He's rich, but he's really cheap and would never waste that kind of money on a safe seat. Which is sensible.
