"We, the 53%?"

All the arrogant Americans who look down their noses at people who struggle to make ends meet. Fuck them. I want to see them all fail miserably and have to beg for the basic necessities. No doubt they won't get half the scorn they've shown others. Who do these people think they are? I think the scales are going to tip on some people.

It was created over a year ago. I'm surprised more people didn't connect it to the Rmoney 47% comments.

I recall a number of rubes using it as a signature on a couple of non-political boards I go to.

And it was doing the rounds not long after the OWS stuff started.

It begs the question why are you having to work three jobs in the world's richest nation?

Right now they're the 47.9% and counting.

I try to vote for what is best for my country - not just myself. When my husband and I were in college we were part of their "47%." I appreciated the help and we realty needed it! Now we're doing fine and if we need to pay more in taxes so that we have a stronger middle class and a stronger country that's fine. Of course nobody likes to pay taxes, but if the economy gets better then we ALL benefit. Why can't people understand this simple concept?
