Panicked Trump campaign trying to change conversation from debate debacle to Clinton’s marriage

Conway spun this thin thread into something like a silver lining after Clinton controlled the debate with her focused and prepared performance, frequently pulling Trump off message by questioning his business success and command of the issues.

“He decided not to, and he explained to America why that was,” she said. “He said, ‘I came here and I was prepared to do some rough talking about that, quote-unquote, but I see your husband here and your daughter, and I’m just not going to do what you’re doing in hundreds of millions of dollars in negative advertising is not nice.'”

Conway repeated this line of praise in each of her stops on the cable TV news circuit Tuesday morning, so that’s apparently the most positive takeaway she was able to salvage from Trump’s disastrous performance.

cannot handle criticism based on his own words! Those excellent ads from the Clinton campaign got under his skin. He can't treat her the way he treated his opponents in the Primary debates and it's clear he can't last a full 90 minutes one on one with Hillary.

He's a joke.

What a terrible job she has. Trying to find something positive to say about Trump's debate last night is not a job for sissies. Gotta have an iron clad stomach to not get into knots with ulcers. And then to have to say that crap over and over and over. Do you think she goes home at night, takes a long long hot shower to get the dirt off? I actually feel sorry for her.

The rest of the Trump spin doctors are being even more ridiculous. I keep thinking that, who knows? Maybe reasonable and moral Republicans will learn not to put forward such liars and corrupt candidates. But then I remember. There aren't any reasonable and moral republicans left.

But then I can be empathetic and imagine myself in her role. A terrible and untenable job. If I had her job, I would wake up every day with a sense of deep deep dred in the pit of my stomach. But you're right in that she chose to take the job. In RW world, it's a few steps up the career ladder for her. Do you think that after the election she will write a Tell-All book and throw Trump under the bus?

You and I are both knowledgeable enough to know that Trump is full of crap. She probably knows that too but she has to go on TV and lie for him. I do not feel anything for a woman who knowingly has to promote that piece of orange crap. No one held a gun to her head (at least not that we are aware of).

If she felt bad about what she is doing then quit. Her husband is a big shot lawyer, not like she needs this job.

She's taking lots and lots of money to lie.

She lies on television, lies on radio, lies in print media and online.

She lies to all Americans, young and old, rich and poor, black and white, and does so shamelessly, every day.

And she lies - constantly, incessantly, openly and publicly - for money. Lots and lots of money.

Fuck. Her.

why anyone should hold her accountable for Bill's action's.

I think her approval rating went through the roof after she stuck it out with him long term. I believe she was voted the world's Most admired Woman for many years afterward.

The RW smear machine sure did their job well in convincing 30% of the country that she is some kind of monster since then.

Whaaaa!! The debate was rigged because they didn't talk about emails and Benghazi and Vince Foster and Bill's cheating! So totally unfair!!!
I'd like to point out to the chief poster of this crap that they actually talked about things that matter, and HRC hit it out of the park. But she's my hairdresser and has scissors in my hair on a regular basis.
