"SNIP..........................................

Because if there was a mandate in this election, it was a mandate to work together to do what’s in the best interest of our country. And right now what’s best is getting our economy moving again and keeping it moving, so we can begin to restore our children’s future."

2. Well, I totally agree with the statement in that snip.

So, at long last, it's about time for him to get with the program.

3. He's simply trying to define the public's perception that no matter how...

...hard 'pukes try to work with our side, we remain intransigent.

10. Given the Dems won the popular vote in the House, the mandate is the Dem platform

and they know it!!

11. If Boehner wasn't such a patheticly weak speaker I think some things could actually get done.

However Boehner over the last two years has shown no ability to keep his caucus in line, has allowed Cantor to gain too much power and generally has just sucked at his job of running the house republican caucus, if he could I have little doubt that Immigration reform at least would get done because he'd force those bastards to vote for it or suffer the consequences.

13. So Boehner, what date and time is the super secret meeting to plan your agenda.

Because we know you guys aren't going to wait until the evening of Inauguration Day this year to start scheming; too much to plan, so little time.

14. Boehner knows that this is a mandate...

The mandate being that if they continue to block and refuse to work with O then there will be huge insurmountable gains by Dems in the mid-terms and his ass may be out of a job.
