My rant about supposed christians with tRump signs in their yards

I'll preface my comments by saying that I respect those that are believers as well as those that are not. That's up to each individual. As for myself, yes, I am a believer that lives in a very large Christian area in Ohio.

With that said, I am very close to losing my religion over all these supposed Christians that have that bastards signs in their yards. The latest being a neighbor that I happened to see today on my daily workout. It's not just them though, I prefer to get my workouts outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine and am pissed as hell as to how many tRump signs I'm seeing as I go.

To these supposed Christians, why in hell are you supporting a man who's every word, action and, motives are not even remotely close to the teachings of Christ? tRump has been and will continue to sell everything contrary to teachings of Christ and you fucking morons are lapping it up like a god damn flock of lemmings.

I never knew there were qualifiers to His teachings until now. The "love thy neighbor" thing, was that meant for ONLY those that look, think and act like you? And what about "whatsoever you do for the least of my brothers, that you do unto me"? Does that mean you ONLY help those that are like you, look like you and think like you?

You stupid sons of bitches are just wasting your time attending church, no matter what denomination you may be and your sorry asses and pitiful outlook on life will in time lead you to your just rewards; Burning in an unquenchable fire where you deservedly belong.

May God have mercy on your soul!

I don't care if it's a friend, neighbor or someone that attends my church and supports that lying ass scumbag, I have absolutely NO fucking use for you, not now, not ever even if that son of a bitch is defeated by Secretary Clinton. You have revealed yourselves and are showing your true colors and I for one have zero tolerance for such ignorant pricks as you!

Fuck every single one of you and I will NOT lend a hand to help you with even a simple task let alone have a general conversation with you.

Jesus taught love and tolerance not hate but God forgive me, I am extremely close to hating all your sorry asses!

One last thing to add. Jesus was Jewish and a man of color. I'd love to see the look on your racist, bigoted, ignorant faces when you stand before Him on judgment day!

It's just like how people with thinker, logical, or any other word that portrays a certain quality are really people who are trying to project those traits onto their readers, so the reader forms a perception that what they are reading is somehow of a higher intellectual quality than other posters.

Overtly pious people are often trying to sell an image, a false persona--one that conflicts with their real self.

Stand in the very beginning. His bluster about guns doesn't hurt either.

When you let your anger take control of your mind, you join their team. I'm a Buddhist, who deeply respects the teaching of Jesus, who taught us to feed the poor, heal the sick, practice peace and tolerance, any love thy neighbor. I consider Jesus to truly be a Boddhisattva. Google it if you don't what a boddhisattva is. Jesus, like Buddha, taught compassion, and that includes Trump supporters. In Buddhism, we would say that they are ignorant, which is the greatest mental flaw from which all other negative character flaws emerge. They do not see reality as it truly exists.

They, like all other sentient beings, are trapped by their points of view in suffering. Their hatred keeps them enslaved in stupidity. Not a small amount of them nurture vengence and envy as well. Can you be in their presence, have them in your neighborhood, without being emotionally swept away with disgust and hatred for them? I know it ain't easy. I have struggled with my contempt with them for years. But I ask myself, when the Dalai Lama looks at them, what does he see? Whatever that is, that's what I aspire to see. While you might not be able to feel compassion for the Deplorables today, you can aspire to have compassion for them. So when you feel anger with them arising, take a deep breath. Relax.

It's definitely a worthy goal, to look at them the same way that the Dalai Lama (or Jesus, or any enlightened person) does.

But damn, it's hard. It's one thing to look at them with love in theory, but when they're right there in person, spewing hatred and racism while claiming to be Christian, it's difficult. Hypocrisy is just so irritating.

I struggle with it frequently. Recognizing that hatred makes us stupid and just breeds more hatred is a good first step. So take a deep breath. Relax. Rest your mind for a moment. Adopt a broader, higher view that haters aren't happy people. They live in a very dark and unpleasant place, a living Hell. Meditate on sending them rays of sunshine. If nothing else imagine yourself as a source of light and love. You'll feel much better.

Our society is undergoing a deep moral struggle against out-of-control corporate greed and ignorant hatred for others. It's as great as our struggle against slavery, Nazism, and Jim Crow. Don't join the Hate Team. We live in degenerate times. Be a ray of sunshine in a world of darkness and hatred.

He literally converted a few months ago just to score points with his fundie base who would vote for Hannibal Lecter as long as he promised to ban abortion and gay marriage. It's SO obvious to anyone with a single functioning brain cell that he's just pandering to them.

A lot of Christians supported a divorced ex-Hollywood actor (Reagan) over an indisputably Christian man (Carter) in 1980.

I think you have to remember Christianity was forged in the totalitarian Roman Empire and has historically supported totalitarian leaders. Maybe it has a totalitarian-loving gene in its DNA.

read about the 1st Council of Nicea, and what that council decided. Anyone who followed gnosticism was banned and sent into exile. Pagan codified Roman law was accepted as Church canon law. The Trinity was defined as how God existed. and oh yes, Easter was declared to be celebrated on the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the 21st of March (vernal equinox).

"Don't give to the poor because socialism doesn't work." This was when Romney was running against Obama. I thought to myself that right wing talking points take priority over what Christ said? To that person I said "really is that what Christ said?"
