County by county, what's the biggest red/blue tilt in your state ?

In AL, Macon county went for Obama by 87%.

Two counties went for Romney 86%.

Enough to get one thinking about direct popular elections, rather than the Electoral College.

another red county with a higher %--there are 100 counties in NC--but most of the red counties were low population.

The high population center counties--Wake, Mecklenburg, Durham, Guilford, Forsyth--and progressive areas like Orange, Buncombe--went blue.
