1. Too bad the media pushes the "Obama lost the popular vote" meme
|
Obama is beating Romney by over 3,000,000 votes, but still many people think Romney got more votes.

11. That wasn't true since the middle of election night!
|
I don't think the media is even pushing it. People are just out of touch.

5. Why is Huffington saying Obama got 332 EV when the Washington Post
|
says 303? Why haven't other news sources given the Florida EV to Obama yet?

9. Until the Florida vote is confirmed as official, I will hold my fire
|
on the astonishing creaming dealt the Romney campaign by the genius of the Obama team.
When the final results are in, I will have some things to say to certain people on Facebook. |

10. Because the MSM wants to play-up the "its close" meme to the end
|
Despite the fact that the President's lead has only grown with every passing day. Florida is a done deal, and HuffPost now has the Pres. at exactly 50%, very nice.

16. Would love to see 47% as official end number...
|
Or lower...
I was hoping for a bigger trouncing... With popular vote= O 53% to R 47% http://www.democraticunderground.com/1251211182 But it looks like a done deal that Obama will pick up a few more votes in the final tally... Romney will hit the magic percentage: 47% From huff post: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/11/07/who-won-the-popular-vote-2012_n_2087038.html As of this writing, Obama had a 58,720,700 (50.1%) to 56,145,950 (48.4%) lead on Mitt Romney for the popular vote.
(UPDATE: As of 2:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Obama has widened his popular vote lead. He now leads 60,193,076 or 50.4% to 57,468,587 or 48.1% with nearly all precincts reporting. Still no official word yet, however.) (UPDATE (2): As of Noon on Friday, with nearly all votes in, Obama assuredly will win the popular vote, leading Romney by a count of 61,173,739 or 50.5% to 58,167,260 or 48.0%. At this point, a few final votes are being counted and then all that's left is for the results to be officially certified.) 48.4% to 48.1% to 48.0% to ?? I hope it goes down to 47% in the final tally. |

17. If the HuffPo results are correct...
|
...most of the remaining outstanding votes are in blue states. It could be 47% to stay!
