Mormon Support
Another strange thing:
Bush Had More Mormon Support Than Romney Pew Research finds that Mitt Romney won 78% of the Mormon vote in the 2102 presidential election. In 2004, George W. Bush was backed by 80% of Mormons

I have a colleague who is Mormon and he has nothing good to say about Mitt. Essentially he maintains that Mitt has no principles and will say and do anything to get elected. He can't be the only one. Phoniness will get you in trouble especially with the people who know you best.

3. I believe he set Mormonism back quite a bit.

For years the Christian Right has defined Mormonism as a cult. They have preached it in churches big and small and on National stages. LDS members want to be seen as credible. Ex Governor Romney did nothing for their overall image. He actually tainted the LDS community. He brought attention to issues that they did not want brought to their way of life. Tenements that they take with the utmost of faith. He lied. they found out he stole. They found out he was prejudice after LDS was trying to outreach in minority communities. See them here rain or shine. His distinguished titles that he held under LDS will forever have the STENCH of coreless beliefs. Not good for their Image.

4. my neighbors are Mormon.

I am African-American living in Cuyahoga county, very close to Cleveland, in an almost equally mixed community. My street is almost exactly half black/half white. My next door neighbors are Mormon, actually moved here from Utah. I don't know them at all - the wife is nice, but the husband most of the time barely nods. Anyway, there was only one yard sign on our street - a Romney sign, next door. But I only discovered it after we got Sandy effects last Monday - there was this white thing lying under the bushes, and I didn't realize what it was until Friday - a Romney/Ryan sign lying neglected on its side. The family has been there all week, walking past it up and down the front porch. I don't understand why it was nearly hidden. Conflicted? Don't know!
