Rove on "elections called prematurely"

I've been away from the computer all day, so forgive me if someone's already brought this up. I thought it was extraordinary that when Rove had his on-air meltdown, his protests included something to the effect that we know what happens when elections are called prematurely--referring to what only could have been election night 2000. He was admitting to everyone that it was all a horrible mistake.

Did anyone else catch this?

4. My take is that between Husted and Rove, they thought they had a sure steal on this

election but something went horribly wrong with their plan. So sad.

5. Actually, Florida was called for Gore and then the Bush team screamed NO!! and it was changed.
