Related: About this forumCNN Questions Trump's Use Of Creepy, Fringe Websites For 'Sources' Of News
Trump spokesperson, Jason Miller, was brave enough to go on CNN today to discuss Trump's insanely bad week. One of the topics Brian Stelter brought up was those wacky charts that Trump kept pulling out. Stelter points out that one of the sources Donald Trump used for a "chart" is Before It's News, a crazy site filled with alien stories, conspiracy theories, etc.
When asked about it, Jason Miller said the following:
STELTER: Who checks this data ahead of time to make sure the sources are accurate and reliable?
MILLER: Brian, on this particular chart, I have not seen that particular chart, so I can't comment on that.
STELTER: So who on the campaign gave it to him? Someone printed it out, put it in his hand and sent him up on stage.
MILLER: Two things here...one, on that particular chart I have not seen that produced by our policy department, and again the point of what Mr. Trump is talking about is how the American economy is going down and not going up under Presdient Obama.
STELTER: No, we can't start with the fact, if he is going to hold up made up articles or made up charts from fringe websites, how are we going to believe anything he says?
MILLER: Uhhhh, Brian, uh, are you saying that our economic growth is going in the right direction? Are you saying that American home ownership is in a good place right now?
