that Virginia would be razor thin, but a win for Obama by about 50,000 votes. On that state site, if you tally all 3rd party people, the headquarters people were damn near on the money!! DAMN! they are good!

President's margin of victory in VA: 109993

Votes for

Goode: 13599
Johnson: 30443
Stein: 8440
Write in: 6866

Total 3rd-party/other votes: 59348

All third party votes plus all votes for that guy--what was his name? Anyway, the President's victory outnumbers the combined total of votes not for him, by 50K votes. No third party had a significant influence, positive or negative, on the President's victory.

Goode doesn't even appear to have significantly altered the results within his old 5th District in Virginia, which has finally embraced the party that freed the slaves because that party now opposes the party that elects black Presidents. They have been dragged, kicking and screaming, into the Twentieth Century.

Too bad it's now the Twenty-First.
