To Trumps defenders saying "he wuz talkign about VOTING."

Now, I have seen every right wing pundit walk in lockstep goosestep making sure they all have their rant about how Trump was not hinting at wanting Hillary shot. I would say this, before Gabby Giffords got shot, that might have been more forgivable.

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/gabby-giffords-trump-second-amendment-violence

The fact is that there has been a faction of the GOP, the same faction that supported the rise of Donald Trump, that has always been willing to use their second amendment "rights" to intimidate and kill. They want us to forget how they were very vocal about how JFK and RFK and MLK really deserved to get shot, all the while defending the KKK whose main purpose was the right of conservative whites to use "second amendment" remedies on black people and others. Of course, they tread carefully, because they will reveal that has much as they spin yarn about how the second amendment is about personal protection (from whatever army of people is out to take their stuff) the second amendment is also about the "right" of vigilantes and terrorist to threaten to shoot government officials they do not like. The right wing politicians do not want to admit that this army of "lone gunmen" is a major arm of their power. In theory , such a mob could be used by the left, but guns in America have always been a part of the fear that is the basis of right wing culture, that the only rights that matter are your rights to blast whoever threatens your property, and that the definition of "your" property is your ability to shoot whoever the elites want you to keep shooting at (before their lawyers pick you corpse cleaner than a soup bone.)

Many even used much the same words to describe how they supposedly heard or interpreted what he said.

However, I really don't think the raucously cheering supporters at his rally were THAT excited at the prospect of canvassing, distributing pamphlets, joining protests, and voting -- they were chomping at the bit for something with more, um, immediate catharsis.

At the end shows he wasn't talking about voting. They take us for real stupid. The only stupid ones are them.
