If exits polls off in Obama's favor he wins Ohio by 14%

wouldn't the republicans cry foul ? and yet they swung in rmoneys favor 6% and since we won anyway it's swept aside ? I still think rove underestimated Obama's vote

4. I think OP means that exit polls showed Romney six points lower than the actual count.

Perhaps votes were flipped by a pre programmed 5 or 6 percent, but it wasn't enough.

7. actual exits polls obama up 8

final results obama plus 2...thats a 6% swing in rmoneys favor, give that to obama instead he wins by 14. I didn't think it was hard to understand. I bet you would have understood it if obama lost by 1% after leading the exits by 5%.....Nothing to see here just another attempted theft of a presidentail election. Glad you find this humerous. bonehead

8. your numbers are bogus unless you provide a source

that's what's throwing me off.

you made up the numbers --apparently.

or let's see where you got them.

besides, the final margin may be closer to 3 --not all the provisionals and late ballots have been counted yet.

11. CNN has 47.84 R vs 50.2 O for their exit poll

Men made of 48% of the vote, R got 52% of them and O got 45% (3% other)
Women made of 52% of the vote, R got 44% and O got 55% (1% other)

rMoneys total is (.48 * 52)+(.52 * 44) = 47.84%
Obama's total is (.48 * 45)+(.52 * 55) = 50.2%

12. CBS exit polls R 47.92% - O 50.59%

As expected, the presidential race is tight in Ohio, where the polls just closed: President Obama is winning women 55 percent to 44 percent in the early CBS News exit poll, while Mitt Romney is leading 52 percent to 46 percent among men. Women made up 51 percent of the electorate.

rMoneys total is (.49 * 52)+(.51 * 44) = 47.92%
Obama's total is (.49 * 46)+(.51 * 55) = 50.59%
