quit talking about 2016. we need to focus on 2014.

Overlooking midterm elections is why we got hammered in 2010.

We need the house and a filibuster proof Senate.

We need the state houses and governor mansions.

2016 is for AFTER 2014. We need to have the passion for the midterms that we had Tuesday.

1. Take back the House in 2014, consolidate gains

Reminding people of how the teabaggers got into power in the off year election should happen immediately and often. Nancy Pelosi would be the Speaker of the House and the Republicans couldn't have gerrymandered all those states if Democrats had pushed hard in 2010.

2. We would be going against history but we do need to try and get the house

back. Usually the party in power loses seats in midterms, but who knows? If the economy continues to improve and Obama can put the GOP on defensive maybe we can pick up seats in 2014 in the house.

6. There's no law of history that says we have to lose 2014

It's doable. We just have to do it. Obama should make retaking the House one of his priorities. As getting a better messaging operation going. If there's one thing he needs it's better messaging. THAT'S THE LESSON OF THAT DISASTROUS FIRST DEBATE.

9. I didn't say it wasn't doable, but it is against history.

and thanks to 2010 the redistricting isn't in our favor either which held back gains in this election, too. My feeling is that we will have a better chance at picking up governorships than we will in getting back the house, but that is not to say we shouldn't try.

14. well

Don't forget Clinton In 1998 had democrats pick up seats just as Bush did in 2002.Most of time president In power only have 1 bad
midterm.Exception to that was Surprise Reagan. In 82 Democrats pick up 26 House seats and 1 senate seat and In 1986 Democrats
took back the Senate. If they are dumb enough to try to Impeach Obama over Bengari dems will be helped.

4. Getting Rick Scott out should be top priority

And Scott Walker and John Kasich.

Rick Snyder in Michigan will likely win.

12. This will get people to the polls:

Constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United ruling

Marriage equality

Decriminalizing marijuana

we just need to get these on the ballot everywhere they'll pass.

16. See if you can get the Personhood Amendment on the ballot in EVERY state

It sure got us out to the polls in Mississippi. And if the Personhood Amendment loses in Mississippi, it can't win anywhere. But boy, did it get us to the polls. Especially women and their gays.

13. Hopefully we will get some tea bagger help in the Senate and House R primaries.

The lesson from 2012 is that the best way for Dems to win in red states is to have a bagger as an opponent.

17. Were not getting a filibuster proof majority.

We have 23 seats to defend and they have 10.

3 of our seats are in Arkansas, Luisiana and Alaska.

We most likely will loose those races.

Unless of corse the GOP nominates bat shit pro-rape people.

18. If we got all the people who came out Tuesday to come out in 2014,

then we'd get Congress back!
