republicans are surprised because they dont triangulate sources.

Essentially, they dont use multiple sources of information. They only listen to their own media sources. They only hear fox news, Hannity, Limbaugh, their own conservative websites, and so forth. These sources dont provide actual data, facts or realistic analysis. No, their media sources rely on ambiguous platitudes in place of factual analysis. They say freedom, liberty, whatever and people have positive associations with those words so they must think they are right and they are winning. When they dont win it must be because of fraud or purposely evil and seditious forces.

the propaganda works. Don't you wish you could do more to fight against this tide of ignorance?

that he needed to read more than one book. This caller was going on about a book he read about Krakatoa, the volcano that erupted in the 1800s and caused some climate change, so his conclusion was that we didn't need to worry. So I do believe you are saying that Republicans really need to read more than one book.

It almost makes me wonder if Glenn Beck is some kind of liberal operative.

Nah... he's just fucking nuts. But I do hope he sticks around.
