I am starting to wonder...

if Florida will have its ballots counted by the time the Electoral College meets.

1. I don't get it

Both the exit poll and the actual vote count depict a significant and unreachable lead. What is keeping them from calling it at this point?

3. Presumably it could always find a million or two extra votes.

4. Every time one of the people counting votes has to go to the bathroom they lose count of their

fingers and have to start over.

6. Tragically misplaced hubris IHMO

I think the Miami-Dade election officials went home early,
and stopped counting votes, hoping against hope that there
would be a replay of 2000, and it would come down to FL
in the end (despite that networks were calling it for Obama),
and so they could in the dark of night do "whatever it takes"
buggery to deliver the Presidency to Rmoney.

They still aren't over it, apparently.

7. Think about it...there were two states heavily involved in voter suppression, Florida and Ohio....

...the GOP counted on those two states to earn close victories to ensure a GOP win.

But they didn't count on the overwhelming Democratic Party ground game in both states, and the willingness of the Dems to fight the Ohio GOP in court.
