LOL about the GOP "reinventing" themselves.

They can talk all they want about reaching out to minorities, but the racists, homophobes, misogynists, and xenophobes who make up the vast majority of their base aren't going ANYWHERE. At least not for another generation when a lot of them die off.

There are already stirrings of "we just have to go more purely conservative." Good luck with that! Squinch Nov 2012 #5
It'll be interesting to see how they'll try to reach out to non-white voters. CheapShotArtist Nov 2012 #6

not allow it. Never. They will never attempt to see someone elses opinion. Jim Jordan, a US house rep tea bagger from Ohio, said that the voters didnt sent Republicans to Washington to compromise with Obama.

Do you see this guy having an honest discussion with inner city minorities or immigrants.

and Christo-fascist ideology at the core of their party's identity?

Ronald Reagan launched his 1980 campaign in Philadelphia, MS, for Christ's sake.

Most minorities aren't really feeling the trickle-down economics that the GOP still wants to push on America. I think the only way they could possibly peel off some minority numbers from the Democrats is to essentially steal the Libertarian party's social platform. Maybe adopt a stance in support of legalizing drugs, since a disproportionate amount of black and brown people have been thrown in jail due to the Drug War, and it's costing taxpayers a ton of money. Plus most people in general support legalizing marijuana, anyway.
