I guess content has a lot to do with it.

It was really hard to watch a hate fest.

This week, much better.

Too often they don't get no respect, but this is the sort of thing they do so well.

Listening to NPR in the car earlier and recording the convention on C-SPAN. Watching here and there on PBS.

watch it on CSPAN. So much more enjoyable and you actually get to see everything that is happening without interruptions from pundits who think they have to have an "angle" to present. Thank goodness of CSPAN!

It's just the convention. I can form my own opinion, or I can just look at DU while watching. I don't need all those other talking heads to tell me what to think.

And do not understand how such a partisan organization is allowed so much power in controlling what you see about your government and having to listen to the very conservative and often nasty to Democratic dialog they run and the telephone calls they feature.

I wish DISH would get off their cheap ass and offer it (and TV Land, & others) in HD. We don't seem to be seeing much in the way of savings only having it in SD.

but switched to C-SPAN.

Sorry, but not a single pundit or commentator adds anything. Not Gwen, not Judy who are normally good at creating perspective. Certainly not the dour David Brooks, and poor Mark Shields can only leap from strings of 3 or 4 coherent word-islands surrounded by a sea of blithering and stammering.

And the commercial networks? Don't get the started....they add NOTHING. Nothing. Nada.
