My cousin who is inside the Wells Fargo Center said the booing has stopped

He said it has been all applause for a while. So I guess Bernie's text and e-mail to supporters had more influence than some had thought. That is a relief for everyone.

Here's to no more interrupting valued speakers who have given a life time of service to Civil Rights!

And, all the other speakers who have come to our convention who we want to listen to.

Once Bernie took a stand, things seemed to settle down. But,what the heck, the Media got their lead in for the Evening News. People are so damn gullible.

People are starting to say that things are way more quiet and cordial than the media is claiming them to be. Nate Silver said that the media has actually set up near the protesters so that things seem extremely chaotic when it is actually just a couple of people making all of the noise.

we will decide what you will see and hear, and if you don't like it,we will just amp it up some more. It's all about the dollars and eye balls. Noticed the Disney/ABC affiliate here in Vegas, has adopted the Fake Noise format,we report you decide and it ain't pretty. Seems like all the Networks are trying to out stupid each other. Got to love the Gish Gallop of these on air Talent's.

Heard this same story from a floor Producer that used to work at one of the local TV stations. Sinclair Broadcasting brought in their people and changed the format to Conservative from middle of the road.

I would imagine that at this point some of the trolls have been relieved of their credentials, especially after the rousing welcome they have given so many women and POC.

"Sanders sent an email to his delegates saying that their movement’s credibility would be “damaged” by “booing, turning of backs, walking out or other similar displays.” Sanders said such demonstrations are “what the corporate media wants.” text message to the leaders of his delegation pleading with them not to protest on the Democratic convention floor Monday night.

“I ask you as a personal courtesy to me to not engage in any kind of protest on the floor,” he wrote in the text message to his delegate whips. “Its of utmost importance you explain this to your delegations.”

He signed the text, “Bernie.”

It was smart to lead off with them. I doubt they will win everyone over to Clinton's side but hopefully some of the anger will subside. There are other fights for other days. Taking down the Democratic Convention would do little to advance the progressive cause.

there's still a lot of Bernie yelling interrupting the speakers.
I guess it is a form of democracy in action; but at some point we're going to have to unite and focus on eliminating Trump and winning back some seats in both houses. Nothing new I'm saying, I know, but it's the truth.
