They have dropped her completely.
The DNC Rules Committee on Saturday named Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Ohio, as permanent chair of the convention, according to a DNC source. She will gavel each session to order and will gavel each session closed, a role that had been expected to be held by Wasserman Schultz.

Guessing they don't want a Ted Cruz moment. Can't say I blame them in the least. Good move by the rules committee.

(10,122 posts)Until she took this position, I liked DWS. But as the emails show, and seemed obvious months ago starting with the debate schedule or the handling of the data compromise, the DNC was not impartial. It was not a fair fight. And for that alone, she should lose her position.
Good riddance. I hope her primary challenger kicks her butt.
