Maine: Yes on 1 (Pro Marriage Equality) 52%

I'm hopefully anxious that we will pass marriage equality in Maine today!

3. Does anyone have returns from Maryland, Minnesota and Washington yet

I would love for this to be a clean sweep for equality tonight.

6. Still fluctuating as precincts report

Equality has been leading but it's narrowing. I haven't checked Washington because polls haven't closed.

2. All the right wing bigots can shut the fuck up now.

Yes we can win this at the polls. Of course human rights should never be up for a vote.

4. It shouldn't be up for a vote.

The Maine legislature passed marriage equality years ago and a "people's veto" at the time overturned it by popular vote. I'm hoping this is a sign that Maine has evolved on this issue.
