Right track Wrong Track 46-52, acccording to CBS early exit

ThinkProgress ‏@thinkprogress

CBS early exit poll data: 46% say the country is headed in the right direction, but 52% say it is off on the wrong track (via @JFarleyWTOP)

If that holds, that's actually very good. That would be way ahead of the national polls, which have it closer to 40-54 (avg)

1. Yes. Those numbers point to an Obama victory ... maybe even a comfortable one.

It's in the margin of '96 and '04.

4. According to RCP, most polls had wrong track leading in double digits. This is a good sign!

6. That is good, but only 40% say economy is on the mend

And only 25% say they are better off than 4 years ago. That is a little worrisome (sorry!)

7. What does that even mean?

As to what issues? And who? Eastern voters - they can't be through with the counting until they've talked to the exiting voters from all states.
