have been looking at polling data

( I know it makes me crazy ) however it appears we are
going to pick up at least 2 seats in the Senate.

Maine ( an Indie but I think he will caucause with the Dems)

Mass. Brown loses.

anyone know of anyother pick ups?

I have another poll question
most models show NC going to the GOP
why? Turnout appears strong here.

I'm holding out slim hopes that we can pick up Arizona and maybe Nevada seats but I think the Senate will stay the way it was...

That would mean the loss of a currently Dem seat. Although Tester has taken a much more conservative tack than I would like, Rehberg is an absolute idiot, as well as a sleazy scumbag. Even MT GOP businessmen I know say that. Without RW GOP PAC $$$ flowing in from outside the state thanks to our RW USSC, I don't believe that this election would be nearly so close.

I also believe that Native Americans who strongly support Tester - and President Obama, for that matter - have been as undersampled in MT as have minorities elsewhere.

I am hoping to be proven right on this. And I also hope that Bullock wins the Governor's seat. Schweitzer is term-limited. Unfortunately.

a lot of Montanans think Rehberg is a scumbag. Without the outside PAC $$$ flowing in, this would not have been such a close contest. The third party candidate also offered an option for the anti-Tester crowd.

I'm also keeping my fingers crossed for Dems retaining the MT Governorship.

Otherwise, he can go pound sand. I am voting for the only progressive in the race, Cynthia Dill.

This made my day as Romney was up 5 or 6 a couple months ago and his lead in polls has steadily diminished. Just hope this trend extends downticket so state and local doesn't all go to Repubs. I noticed on local TV this morning Rep group is running last minute smear ads against Dem judges to sway voters who don't know how to vote in nonpartisan judge races and otherwise might not vote in those races at all but thankfully Dems have been handing out and mailing out flyers with the judges and running print ads in local papers too.
