What's with this garbage "too close to call" article on the Daily Beast?

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/11/05/too-close-to-call.html

They cherry-pick 2 no-name polls to show tight races in MI and OH while ignoring the much wider margins reported by actually well-known and respected firms like PPP, Pew, Ipsos Reuters, Marist/WSJ/NBC, NYT/CBS, and so forth.

I felt quite optimistic until today. And for some reason today, everyone is losing their minds. Some have said it looks like a sure Obama win, but more are doing the "too close to call" thing. It's probably because it's the day before and the talking heads have to sensationalize the whole thing to keep people glued to the teevee.

I need to find a movie and just stop. Otherwise I'll be here all night. Which some threads help and make me feel better - then all of a sudden there is a voting machine thread or a tight poll thread. I know people are probably feeling a little panicky like me. But we don't help ourselves when we fret out loud
