(8,175 posts)but the big money centers will go to Hillary.
Kind of a shame isn't it? The people who need change in this country the most are mostly voting for Bernie, and the ones who have all the money are voting for Hillary.
All over the US, the big money centers have gone for Hillary. I expect DC to be a blowout for her too, just like NY.
Kind of tells you a little about what this whole revolution is about, doesn't it?

(32,342 posts)He hasn't pulled ahead in a district here yet. Despite the fact that most of his CA funding came from the Big 5 tech employees, who are not hurting.
Kind of tells you what this whole "revolution" was about.

(8,175 posts)Look at the map...everything around the bay area is going to Hill. Everything around the LA, San Diego is going to Hill. Those are where the millionaires and CEOs live. They were always going to go Hillary. And the techies who are all making big bucks in silicon valley...always going for Hillary.
This is not a surprise. I predicted this weeks ago.
But the provisional ballots, from everywhere, are going to go Bernie. And they will be last to be counted, so it's not over till the fat lady sings.
When the tallies started coming in it was 65 for Hillary, 35 for Benrie. Now it's up to 52% reporting (not counting provisional) and the gap is narrowing. It's now it's down to 58 for hillary and almost 41 for Bernie. He's closed a gap from 30 to 17.
Don't hold your breath. I'm going to bed. This won't be decided for awhile.

This argument is really not based in reality.

(8,175 posts)And even though there are dems in conservative states, many of those dems tend to be more conservative than blue states, and will go with the establishment.
That is a whole different issue.

(18,402 posts)An average of 24 separate polls had her winning, and her chances of winning were given at 89%. She was always going to win California. And Bernie Sanders knew this, or he wouldn't have scheduled his national speech of the evening for 1 am Eastern.

(135,425 posts)California, large, diverse, and full of engaged, active voters, told this man that he wasn't The One.
It's time to realize that it is OVER.
You can continue to carp and pick and fuss and fume, and be negative and desirous of a scorched earth policy, but that kind of attitude isn't going to do you or your candidate any good. Stewing in your own negative juices isn't going to help anyone or make you feel better.
