He's 78, an immigrant, educated, well read, and had long thought W did the right thing in the Muddle East.

Last week when we met for lunch, he almost gave me a heart attack.

"Son, it is hard for me to admit I was wrong, but I was wrong. W was a disaster as a president and I truly underestimated just how much fixing Obama had to do. But even more so, I once thought that the attacks on Bill Clinton were based in fact and worthwhile. And at first, I felt the same about the attacks on Obama. As I said, I was wrong.

"Today's Republican Party is unrecognizable to me. I could care less about religion, but I do care about this country. They are deliberately destroying it. I will probably be voting for Obama. There is no way I could ever vote for any of those clowns."

HE used the term "clowns."

All the lies and misrepresenting of information and cutting of film

They took the informatio about hormones and cystitus and turned it into
a debate on contraception. This is not news reporting, this is total propaganda.

If the FCC can't see that a propaganda station does harm to the public
understanding of events they need to have their corporate mission

Fox News has literally created and presents an "alternative reality" for it's viewers. If it were actually true, then I might even have to re-think my entire perception of reality. It's scary to think that a LOT of people (too many) actually live in their "reality". It really shouldn't be a surprise that we are in the mess that we are in.
