2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumAndrea Mitchell wants answers about the IG report. Watch Hillary surrogate deflect every single
question.
All Adam Schiff says is - well, so and so did it too.
Unreal.
Nice to know that Andrea Mitchell still can muster up journalistic integrity from time to time.

This phenomenon of Hillary being less than truthful and transparent is engrained i her character.

(47,085 posts)I'll try to explain some facts of Government to you.
I suppose you were one the folks who back in 2006, hollerered unrealistically for an impeachment of Bush? Because I don't know what indictment you expected against him. He was protected by the will of the country for the most part. Impeachments are political things, they are not about codified laws.
Since you made the comparison above, I can see that there is nothing, not 10's of thousands of released emails, not obvious laxness throughout the State Dept on records for many years and administrations, not the ridiculous overboard RW efforts over the past 2 years to pin something on Hillary, that will get past your anti-Hillary filter.
Good day to you.

(47,085 posts)CONCLUSION
Longstanding, systemic weaknesses related to electronic records and communications have existed within the Office of the Secretary that go well beyond the tenure of any one Secretary of State. OIG recognizes that technology and Department policy have evolved considerably since Secretary Albrights tenure began in 1997. Nevertheless, the Department generally and the Office of the Secretary in particular have been slow to recognize and to manage effectively the legal requirements and cybersecurity risks associated with electronic data communications, particularly as those risks pertain to its most senior leadership. OIG expects that its recommendations will move the Department steps closer to meaningfully addressing these risks.

catching glimpses of actual journalism are rare sights, a little like seeing an endangered species up close.
We need to put 'true journalists' on an endangered species list, or maybe grade networks and journalists by their level of journalistic integrity.
Have it be updated and monitored and available on a watchdog type site.
I think it would be great. Maybe then, the networks would take notice if their traffic slowed or increased based on rankings by independent parties trying to improve reporting in this country.

Hillary Clinton has proven she cannot be trusted with the most basic security and has surrounded herself with liars, hacks, or worse. Trump should be easy. Democratic Party I do not care who you elect as long as it is not Hillary Clinton. Democratic Party it is up to you (Clinton and Sanders partisans) to sort out this mess. We are at the mercy of unknown forces to save us from a downward spiral into chaos.

MSNBC host GRILLS hack Clinton surrogate over phony email talking points [VIDEO]
Corey Lewandowski
Published on May 27, 2016
Today on her show, Andrea Mitchell grilled Clinton Democrat hack surrogate Adam Schiff who tries to play down the email scandal with phony talking points. But Mitchell didnt let him get away with it, correcting him a couple of times on the facts versus his spin.
You know its funny. Mitchell, who did a good job of making sure her viewers knew the actual facts, would probably never have done this with Hillary herself. Hillary would have made sure of that.
But hey, I guess well take what we can get.
