(17 roll-call amendments) during the period 1995-2007. And remember, the House was controlled by the Republicans during that entire time.

Bernie has also managed to get a total of 90 amendments passed in his 25 years in Congress.

In contrast, Hillary was not able to get any roll call amendments passed in the 8 years she was in the Senate.

3. He's uniquely good at cutting to the heart of issues and achieving consensus

He was also one of the founders of the Progressive Caucus in the US House.

He's got a lot more experience than HRC and its ALL been in elected, not appointed positions. He routinely gets reelected by huge margins, even Republicans vote for him because he's good.

He brings people together to solve problems which is what our country desperately needs.

The proposal was actually quite a big shit sandwich. http://www.salon.com/2012/07/23/the_obama_gitmo_myth/

Bernie voted against some terrible policies, but they were packaged along with closing Gitmo. Thus cheeky posters can say, "He voted against closing Gitmo." You can look up the vote and see what other racial leftists also voted against it.
