(3,811 posts)But the fact remains, as I see it anyhow, that because he was on the ticket, and because he siphoned off votes that would've otherwise mostly gone to the Democratic Party, we got George Bush and the Iraq War.
The votes Nadar siphoned off gave us the Florida recount, George Bush, and the Iraq War.
None of those things would've happened otherwise, all other things remaining the same.
I don't begrudge Nadar, but I think we paid a huge price as a country for putting Bush in the White House.
And I think a Trump presidency could make the Bush presidency seem like the good old days.
