Obama-Christie partnership: Karma bites Corey Booker in the butt

There's been a lot of talk about how Christie working with Obama is helping Obama in his re-election campaign.

But, what this also does is all but guarantee that Christie will be re-elected as governor of NJ in 2013.

Who was supposed to be the Democrat challenging Christie in 2013?

Corey "attacks on Bain Capital are nauseating" Booker.

I'm sure Team Obama were besides themselves with grief at having Corey Booker's ambitions damaged.

Booker thought he was going to get to the top by engaging in phony bipartisanship and false equivalence. And he just got torpedoed because of actual, constructive bipartisanship.

Sheesh, folks. Sometimes you let your preconceived notions get in the way of your common sense.

But, if someone's ambitions had to be sacrificed to help the people of New Jersey and re-elect President Obama, can't think of someone better than Booker.
