It's back to being late September again, polls-wise

Looking at 538, it's clear that Romney's debate bump has completely vaporized and Obama's enjoying the kind of numbers that he had in the 2nd half of September.

The first debate gave the media something to talk about for a few weeks. Nothing more. If anything, it spurred Obama to campaign even harder and more passionately. We wouldn't have gotten those memorable debate performances out of him had Romney not pushed him.

If they had not given the message and Obama repeated that first performance in debates 2 and 3..it would be President Romney and VP Paul Ryan.. how sickening is that to think of?

Thanks Chris and thanks Big Eddie!
