Is it possible that some of this Super Pack money that is keeping Gingrinch & Santorum

in the race is really GOP establishment trying to keep the anti-Romney vote divided so that Romney wins? Because Romney has turned out much weaker than anybody thought. If someone like Gingrinch pulls out wont most of his followers go to Santorum? I mean it is a delicate/nuanced thing for the GOP establishment to pull off but I don't see why not.

a deal with Romney to be VP. Things have changed a lot, so I don't know.

How do you think we ended up with a JFK/Johnson ticket?

JFK needed Johnson's supporters. The situation was a bit different, but the element of politics overtaking everything else could repeat in the Republican race. Someone is going to have a trump card, so to speak.

I can hear Mitt calling Newt and asking..."Ok, Newt, what do you want in my administration? Sec of State? SecDef? Name it, it's yours." Newt's a political animal and he knows he doesn't stand a chance to win this nomination...but he's holding some very excellent cards if he's playing poker with Mitt. the only thing he needs to do is...stay in the race and keep splitting that conservative base.
