A lot of low income and disabled Democratic voters who don't have cars and who rely on public transportation might decide to stay home and sit out the election because of weather in the next few days. DNC and the Obama team should target and arrange for free bus rides to the polls fir these voters, specially in swing states. Every single vote helps and Republicans are counting on these voters staying home because of weather.

(9,612 posts)If you need a ride, call your local Democratic campaign office. They should be able to get you on a bus or in a van.

(52,999 posts)I'm taking election day off to volunteer and give rides to the polls when necessary. Though in my city polls are generally only a short walk away.

Maybe they should coordinate free unicorn rides to sapphire city too. Geez, its not like people have to cross the Sahara to get to a voting booth.

(7,318 posts)the distance to go vote can be insurmountable, if you have no transportation and the weather is bad on top of that.
