(2,345 posts)Chris Christie is asked about the Presidents response. I was trying to copy the transcript at morning joe... but MSNBC does something weird with their webpage that makes copying text and clips a little difficult. It came out as embed code that did not preview well at all.
So I googled for the clip and found it on Daily Kos.
He says The President has been outstanding in this and so have the folks at FEMA.

(2,800 posts)Christie is very complimentary of the president handling the situation in NJ with Sandy.
Obama is clearly the Anti-Bush of disaster management.
The head of FEMA is likely more qualified than a horse show judge, ("Heckuva a job, Brownie" so that is in our favor as well.
Christie does make the president look good, compentent and qualified, but he's not telling anyone who he supports in the upcoming election.

(2,345 posts)Someone I work with this morning was telling me that President Obama hired one of Jeb Bush's disaster guys that worked well on the turmoil that Florida went through back in the day. I did not get the particulars because it reminded me that President Obama also appointed Huntsman as Ambassador to China...
Our President has been more willing to reach across the aisle so many times. I wish more people actually knew how much our President has tried to work with Republicans. If they did, this election would have been a slam dunk.
I hope the TV conglomerates enjoyed their 2 billion dollar stimulus...
