Gov. Christie on Morning Joe: "The president's been all over this. He deserves great credit."

Christie is sure helping Team Obama this week.

Some speculate that, like Santorum, he's actually hoping for a Romney loss so he can position himself for 2016.

Unlike Dumbya who was negligent when Katrina hit perhaps somewhat because Louisiana had a Democratic governor at the time.

Christie was Romoney's attack dog and he just bit him in the ass, he is now Obama's lap dog. This storm just destroyed Mitt and his lies, no time left to recover. Obama showed through deeds that he can work with the other side for the good of our country while Mitt is choking on his lies about Jeep going to China.

that...and Christie sounded almost starstruck--about how he talked to the President three times personally including at midnight--It is the second interview I have seen with him and he is sooo helping the President....and not helping Mittens. He was impressed at how the President could just "get it done"... Yes Christie we are already familiar with that---witness health care and Osama Bin laden..

Perhaps Christie knows its the truth this president is on the job...perhaps he is not for the bold faced lies that Romney spreads...perhaps he is making his own bid for the future...

Chrisitie has integrity and he calls them as he sees them (mostly or often or sometimes...). He probably actually believes most of the things he says that we here profoundly disagree with. But he had moments when he was truly worthy of respect IMHO, and this is on eof them.

I think his hands were tied. You can't be political while the disaster is still going on. And PBO did reach out to him and didn't give a chance to say anything bad.

Christie is in a battle with the Democratic mayor of Atlantic City though, that I saw on one of the networks this morning.

the way Christie is handling things at the moment. Instead of catering to the dark side as usual, one of 'them' has finally decided that there are far more important things to worry about right now and instead of making up crap to complain about, he recognizes that President Obama IS doing the job..and doing it very well.
