Will the right respect the election results?

...if the results come out the way they WANT them to. Just like the Constitution...they support it so long as it's convenient.

They only respect the results of elections when they win.

Obama took the lead at the last moment. About Monday, they will have Obama ahead .5 points. Just so they can claim accuracy. I think Zogby did that in 2000, right? Oh well.

I remember the time and election plain as day.

The country simply was fatigued from 8 years of republican's throwing a fit (like they did from 09 to 10) and Bush seemed harmless enough, the "guy you would like to have a beer" with and I think the country simply got fat and lazy from what good Clinton did, and threw the republicans a bone for what seemed like a nice enough guy.

I hated him with a passion, it was pretty clear he was an entitled twit who got by on his name, and I was just shocked that the country would so carelessly dismiss a more accomplished and serious man for the clown.

I still remember the feeling in the pit of my stomach after it took the bizarre turn it took that night.

It seems like there are two very different realities afoot. The right seems to really have bought into the notion that Romney has this wrapped up. The media are not helping. I remember how I felt after 2000. I remember the outrage. Given how these folks are, the quality of their rhetoric...the whole "2nd amendment solutions" thing. It just gives me the creeps. I hope that in the next day or so the media get with reality and at least give these people some warning that the fiction they have been sold is, indeed, a fiction.

So much will depend on Romney's ability to essentially tell them the Truth. I just don't see how that goes over. It is frightening.
