to be stopped with their extreme right wing ideas. A landslide will at least make them think what they are doing wrong. At least I hope so.

11. They do not care.
|
That's my biggest problem with them -- they simply don't care one bit about what the people really want, what's right for the country or what's fair. They just don't give a shit. All they care about is rewarding their friends, staying in power and everyone else can go to hell.

10. Exactly.

At this point, I view it like the bar exam. You're just shooting for a D-. All you want to do is pass.
Yes, I understand the implications/narrative of a bigger win, and certainly hope for it, but the most important thing overall right now is a win, is 270. |

5. I'm just looking for 270, anything beyond that is just gravy.
|
The good news is if Romney loses, the Teabaggers will double down on their demands for ideological purity claiming it was his squishiness that cost them the race.

23. I agree that the senate seat in Indiana just tipped in the right diection on Planet Mourdock, but
|
I'm not sure that Mourdock has big enough "reverse coattails" to erase a 13% presidential race deficit.

Outdated and biased!
Wait until the ads come out with the quote! ================================================ 2012 Tossup Senate Races May Come Down To 11th-Hour Blunders Posted: 10/24/2012 4:09 pm http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/24/2012-senate-races_n_2010816.html?utm_hp_ref=elections-2012 Blunders by candidates in two pivotal Senate races over the past week could end up putting their campaigns in jeopardy, in turn affecting the overall balance of power in the upper chamber. At a Tuesday night Senate debate in Indiana, Republican Richard Mourdock said that pregnancies that result from rape can be "something that God intended to happen." With only two weeks remaining and most voters decided about the Indiana race, it is unclear whether Mourdock's standing will suffer.... ..... Akin now trails McCaskill by 6.9 points in the HuffPost Pollster estimate and the race is now rated as "strong Democratic." |
