As always, those of us at DU who understand polling, moving averages, reality, or whatever special knowledge is needed on any particular topic are on top of almost every story.
Many of us predicted how the MSM would report the debates and frame the election horse race. DUers have stripped the pollsters bare, exposing their flaws, lies, and complicities. In general, and specifically Gravis. With today's Gallup shift as we expected, I expect Romney to start imploding rapidly. The MSM will talk about momentum shifting from R to O, a supposed debate bounce for O, additional polls "confirming" the new CW narrative. As the Gallup ripples through 538 et al, the perceived effects will be amplified. Should be fun watching all the pundits trying to retroactively predict the Obama surge. Now if we can prove them wrong about NC, too. |
