Millions of women will still vote republican.
You can't fix stupid. We need to be realistic and understand these women will stand by their republican men no matter what they say.
The only solution is for other women to come out in bigger numbers and drown them out. Please vote.

1. They really

are stupid or nuts. Younger women are giving up rights to the care of their bodies and older women are gambling on their Medicare/Social Security benefits and those of their children. I don't get it at all. They are really dumb.

|
they HATE that other women work outside the home, they are virulently anti-sex (the ones I know try to be as frumpy as possible on purpose) and they want to force all other women to be as anti-sex, frumpy and constricted in freedom as they are. It BOTHERS them that other women are sexy, having fun, out there in the world instead of staying at home....they really really want to force other women to conform. The women Repukes I know are the most dangerous repukes of all.

But this thought scares me. The single biggest influence in a person's political ideology is what they learn at home. Repugs are breeders. They out breed us 2 - 1. That means we have to be educators. That makes for an uphill battle.

Last edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 06:19 PM USA/ET - Edit history (1) Complacency and assuming their vote isn't needed is a big issue. People need to be reminded that every vote counts and the other side literally has millions voting for them. The slim margin by which Gore lost was ridiculous. They only got away with going to court because the vote was supposedly so close. Then there was the disastrous turnout when Reagan won and so many democrats either didn't vote or voted republican.
There is too much history for me to assume things will go well. I am not taking any chances. I will shout anytime I can that we are facing a formidable enemy and democrats need to get out and VOTE. |

There is a GENDER GAP. Which means more women support President Obama but millions will still vote for Romney. It's called basic math and votes are counted.

Math is real
Women will vote for Romney okay, well In fact millions of human beings will be voting for Romney is this cause for alarm? Your post states the obvious, so maybe you do need math to explain it's purpose. |

That was the point of my post. If you can't deal with that reality then that is your issue. Maybe in your fantasy world there are no women who vote republican. In the real world millions do against their own interest and they number in the millions. In order to defeat them we have to have more votes. Millions more and like I said it is called basic math. It really seems some of you have problems with advocating democrats get out and vote. It makes me wonder who you are really supporting. |

Never mind the fact that a great percentage more (in correlation) men will vote Repug, and definitely against their own Interests too -- let's phrase it so it's da women's dat r stoopid.
I see what you're saying, nor do I deny that it is technically true; but the way it's put forward still bugs the shit out of me. |

they are not stupid, not normally anyway, and they still vote for him. I live in a very conservative area (near Idaho) and almost all of my friends are Romney supporters. They are very intelligent women. However, being intelligent and knowledgeable are two different things. Most I am sure listen to Rush and Fox, therein lies a lot of their thinking. Very sad.

15. Perhaps being an ex-Republican female gives me
|
the ability to offer an opinion on this subject.
I am not stupid; far from it. I believe my husband is the head of our family, but he in no way controls me, orders me about or tells me how to think. I am anti-abortion, and believe that life begins at conception, but also believe that no one should control the woman's body except her. I am disgusted by Akin and Mourdock's comments. I think that the GOP used to be a decent party that has been taken over by racist, hate-filled extremists. That is why I switched. I can no longer tolerate the Coulters and Limbaughs and Becks and Trumps. As far as the controlling husbands, I suspect more than one ballot will be cast by a Republican wife for President Obama. Secretly! |

They are not stupid women. They manage households, raise children, drive cars, balance checkbooks, hold down one or two jobs, contribute to society and their communities.
O.K., maybe they are politically different than you, but don't insult them. Would Barack Obama say something like this? HELL NO! They are just ignorant |
