12. How is that scary?

What do you think the people who are holding up Hitler signs and screaming socialism were yelling about? Their love of Obama?

14. I agree with you. It is scary, the people who are that way. 1 of the scary things about bush was

not just that he was installed by the SCOTUS, or the votes that were stolen, but the number of people who DID vote for him, esp his second term. Fear combined with ignorance is a great motivator to change things in a negative way.

15. Seems to me that 34% have been angry at President Obama since the day he took office.

Their minds will never change. I wouldn't sweat it.

Here's hoping.

8. If you look at the graph it appears to be both an uptick for Obama and a downtick for Romney

right around the time of the third debate.

4. The Rand Poll Is A Internet Tracker So It Has Limitations But It Is Still Useful

Look at the movement to O in the past few days.

7. The Rand Poll *uses* the internet...

...but their methodology is fairly robust. Silver thinks they're doing things smart and that's good enough for me.

9. I Just Wonder If Internet Trackers Can Capture Working Class Voters

I have a hard time believing some guy who busts his ass mowing lawns in the hot sun all day is going to come home, and log his thoughts on a political race.

5. Is this the poll where the same group of voters is tracked?

And has this poll been used in previous Presidential elections? I am curious as to how its accuracy compares to other polls.

6. Please See #4

And some internet trackers/polls did quite well in 04 and 08, specifically yougov and Harris Interactive.

10. I checked it out. It is the same group being resampled every week.

So it is not really the same as other internet polls. It is in a class of its own. Will be interesting to see how it comes out.
