It was a once in a lifetime thing. And a complete surprise for most of us there!

1. When I read your OP I thought in my little brain:

"That's not cool. No one should go in a pizza place and buy voters pizza to buy votes."

Duh! He brought them to the campaign office. That's sweet!

6. Thanks

It was designed by a local artist. We got it painted in July just in time for the opening of the new headquarters.

4. Gosh, I love him!

Sometimes I really wish I lived in a Swing state so that I could do more...be on the 'front lines' so to speak.

When ya live in a red state, sometimes you feel like nothing you do really matters, even though it actually does.

5. I agree!

Hard to discuss anything with anyone here in Georgia, other than family.

Usually, I have to call my sister in Orlando to get the heads up on things.

She worked for Allen Grayson's campaign years ago.

Linda Stewart is a personal friend.

7. Good news! You can make calls to voters over the internet!!

https://call.barackobama.com/

You will need to sign up for a OFA acct (takes seconds) and then it will default you to call voters in your area BUT you can choose a different state from the drop-down menu.

I've been phonebanking from my laptop. It's fun, they provide you with all the info and script and the results of your call are reported automatically.

It's great b/c you can do just a few calls or spend hours, whatever you have time for at the moment.
