"Gloria Allred's Surprise For Mitt Romney Revealed!" - RadarOnlineLast edited Wed Oct 24, 2012, 03:29 AM USA/ET - Edit history (1) By Jen Heger - Radar Assistant Managing Editor
Gloria Allred's October surprise for Governor Mitt Romney involves allegations about a child custody matter that the Republican presidential hopeful testified about involving his very good friend, and former CEO of Staples, Tom Stemberg and his divorce form one of his two ex-wives, RadarOnline.com is reporting. The founder of Staples, who spoke on behalf of Governor Mitt Romney at the Republican National Convention in Tampa Bay, Florida last summer, has four sons from two different ex-wives, Maureen Sullivan Stemberg and Dola Hamilton Stemburg. Mitt Romney's hedge fund, Bain Capital, was an early investor of Staples. Tom Stemberg's sons are in their mid-teens and early twenties. "Governor Mitt Romney gave sworn testimony about his observations of Tom's role as a father to his four sons," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. Our source wouldn't provide any additional information because of Governor Romney's sworn declaration and gag order. ... "Ms. Allred's client feels that the public needs to know about Governor Mitt Romney's role in this very important case. Governor Romney is running for President of the United States and this goes to a very important character issues," the insider revealed. It's unclear if Governor Romney will have lawyers present at the hearing on Wednesday morning. The emergency hearing will take place at the Norfolk Probate & Family Court in Canton, Massachusetts, and Justice Jennifer Ulwick will oversee the proceedings which will begin at 9 a.m. EST. 2. Maybe i'm missing something, but I'm not sure why this is important.

Character issues? Which character, the guy has played more of them than the entire run of Saturday Night Live. He's a creep, and he's a putz. A creepy putz, if you will. Ms. Allred isn't going to make him look any worse than he's already managed on his own, and the people who already don't give a shit about him being a creepy putz aren't going to be turned off by anything she reveals.

thus far.

6. It's not important to you. This isn't about you
|
Why is everyone here thinking this is for them. It's not. You're vote is a given (or better be), but to many undecided or borderline folks this kind of stuff makes a difference. Sad but true. And anything to widen that gender gap is a plus.
At the minimum it washes Trump's BS. Remember we are also trying to fight for a narrative momentum. I really wish the base would just shut it and just toe the line for once at least for two weeks. |

|
And they'll go "Oh shit, forgot to vote... Oh well" just like they always do.

the point is not that it might reveal what we already know, the point is to make M.R, deservingly it seems, get bad press.

but, it sounds right now like it could be more than just "Binders Full Of Women" and the GOP WAR ON WOMEN being mitt's women problems.
That would add Women being cheated out of fair alimony settlements..and just women in general who don't like it. |

Allred has a long history of being a camera chaser and those panting after her every word on this are little better.
Going after this makes us and the President look petty at best. |

She's representing a client, if the story is true. .. I make no assertions beyond that as I agree thus far, it seems irrelevant.

I'm a lawyer and there are things in this article that are at odds. It's talking about sworn "testimony" which would make you believe Romney testified on the stand and was questioned by both sides. However, it also says "sworn declaration" which means to me that it is more likely an affidavit which is just a document and there would not have been live testimony or cross-examination.
Disclaimer: I specialize in criminal defense, not domestic relations, so I might be missing something here. |
