So, I'm not sure how accurate they are. They also have Obama +3 in NC.

us REALLY know which pollsters are the good ones. Yeah we know the crap like Gravis and ARG can be ignored but otherwise to ignore Grove is just more Dems trying to 'face reality' by embracing the most pessimistic scenario. Maybe Grove is trying to show Dems what the campaign is really seeing.

Maybe the Dems are trying to balance the GOP pollster weighting with their own bias. In which case damn right I'm all for it. They should have done this a while ago and any Dem should be backing this 100%.

Just saying they're a Democratic poll. Some party affiliated polls skew their results. Some don't. I don't know if Grove does this or not. There was a Pennsylvania poll released earlier this week that showed Romney up four there ... but it was also a Republican pollster, so, that would explain it.

Not saying Grove is manipulating their numbers. But I don't know much about this pollster.

I would say, while they lean Democratic, their polls don't seem to show a clear bias.

Take Obama's approval rating in Nevada in 2010:

44% approve, 54% disapprove

Reid had even worse numbers.

Some races they polled:

Oregon governor:

Kitzhaber: 49
Dudley: 45

Kitzhaber won 49-48

Pennsylvania's 15th congressional district:

Dent: 45
Callahan: 43

Dent won 54-39

The other polls seem to be races that were blowouts.

They were right on Kitzhaber's overall vote, underestimated Dudley, tho. They predicted Callahan (the Democrat) to lose narrowly to Dent (the incumbent Republican), but the race really wasn't all that close.

So, who knows...
