Related: About this forumCNN's David Gergen: "The night goes to Barack Obama"
He said this at one point a little while ago, although he also seemed to say Romney was very strong again and that it was kind of a draw.
Anyway, I guess that's good for Obama overall coming from Gergen.

(2,711 posts)4. At the beginning when Obama
charged off into his answer to the first question without the customary thank yous to all involved I thought, "Oh no. Here we go again."
But he righted himself quickly and battled to a draw during the first third of the debate. Then he really hit his stride hard for the last 2/3rds and it was just "body parts" from the Lybia question forward.
