It seems to me that the media are dredging for the polls that make the race “close”.

Just heard CBS Radio “news” shrieking that Romney leads by four and that Obama’s lead in PA has been “slashed to fouuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrr!” Then they breathlessly screamed about the debate tonight. We tolerate that CBS Radio "news" crap so we can follow local news. Thankfully its only on for 4 minutes or so.

Could have sworn I heard Romney lie throughout that entire debate....perhaps I'm mistaken. nc4bo Oct 2012 #1
It's all about the media, and the $$$ they'll rake in with a "close" race. TheCowsCameHome Oct 2012 #2

You know, because a candidate that would lie not only on topics but completely reinvent himself like Romney did during Debate #1, would be a really BIG DEAL worthy of continuous, consistent media attention.
