Mitt Romney Super PAC's $14M blitz (mostly negative ads)

The super PAC supporting Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign raised $6.6 million last month and spent $13.9 – mostly on ads ripping Romney’s opponents, according to a report filed Monday afternoon with the Federal Election Commission.

Despite the imbalance between fundraising and spending, the super PAC, Restore Our Future, finished January with $16.3 million in the bank, according to the report, which offers a glimpse of a robust operation that seems poised to continue spending heavily.
