Should GOTV canvassers ask voters to give them their completed voters as they

(the canvasser) will turn the ballot in for the voter? This recently happened to a friend of mine. The request from the GOTV canvasser was unsolicited, and it made her very uncomfortable.

1. I sure as shit wouldn't ask, or give anyone my ballot.

I hope that she didn't do it.

3. Absolutely fucking not

Do not yield your ballot to anyone but the post office or ballot box/poll worker. Whoever sought a ballot was committing a felony.

6. In some states -like mine- this will get your vote discarded

Even if the canvasser has the best of intentions and is trying to be helpful, this will invalidate the vote.

All states have different rules: know what your state's are. Even if it were allowed, I wouldn't trust a stranger to deliver my ballot.
