Team Obama should be talking about this, particularly with women voters (the ones who will determine this election).

I'm just glad that Joe Biden finally took the initiative.

Make the Supreme Court and the abortion issue a major priority every day.

Ads, focus groups, clips of Ryan & Romney lying about it etc.

If we don't win the women's vote decisively, we will lose.

So this needs to be a Top Priority!

Get to work!

Roberts seems to already be concerned about the court's reputation being viewed as partisan.

I think he'll rule against affirmative action. Even in his past that seems to be something he's very much against. But as far as Roe v Wade, I don't see him overturning such a landmark decision with him being a swing vote. I think if it is 5-4, he'll flip against the conservatives at the last second the way he did with ACA.

The fear would be if Romney nominated two hard-right pro-lifers to replace Ginsberg and Kennedy. Then they would have a pro-life bloc of 5 without Roberts. At that point, Roberts would join the 5 in order to make it 6-3.

But you are right that its dangerous.

Ginsberg is nearly 80 and is expected to stop down over the next 4 years. And maybe one of the others who are in their 70's.

And there can always be an unexpected death.
