So I was watching the CBS news - headlines all about the economic recovery -

the success of the auto industry bail out, the improvement in unemployment numbers, the improvements in the housing market.

Then I thought about the insane republicans trying to craft some sort of story or reason why the voters should vote for them - especially since the story is being so neatly written for the Dems - 8 years of driving off the cliff, followed by 4 years of finally righting the ship.....and people would even consider giving the keys back to the cliff drivers?

And then I...




Certainly it's not time for complacency, and certainly the Repubs are going for one issue voters, haters, birthers, racists and bigots...

But I am thinking that they are outnumbered by voters who have at least a basic handle on logic!

I hope you are right. There are times that I wonder if there are enough logical voters left from all the crazy chatter I hear. By rights the GOP should not have even 50 seats in Congress and that includes both houses. Yet the American voter seems to find a way to make the wrong decision when they vote.

2. It was a great segment tonight. Dow up over 12,000 points. Unemployment claims down in 4 years.

GM generated unprecedented profit. The GM CEO admits that it was Obama's policies that lifted the company out of the doldrums. The GOP War on Women and reproductive health! Mittens self destructive lying. Rick Santorum's extremist views and that of his major campaign donor.

It was a great day for the president and Democrats!

The MSM will subtly suggest that recovery is due to repig policies, somehow.

The unhinged anti-American sheep known as "repig voters" will figure out a way to claim that Obama caused the 2007-2011 slowdown, and repigs "fixed" it.
