2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumLarry Sanders did not call Bill Clinton a rapist, the NY Post is tabloid trash.
He was faulting the media for their coverage of the Clintons, here is the original article:
Larry is at pains to point out that they have real respect for Hillary. (The Clinton campaign did not respond to a request for comment.)
http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/19/bernie-sanders-s-brother-he-backs-class-warfare-bill-clinton-was-worse-than-bush.html
The Post edited the comment, this is how they "reported" it:
This kind of right wing trash doesn't belong here, it smears both Bill Clinton and Larry Sanders.

anyway, to be honest, I don't care what a relative not involved in the election or politics says about anything, especially about somebody I cannot stand like Bill Clinton.

(57,349 posts)In fact I've called it out on both sides.
DisgustipatedinCA
(12,530 posts)I think that going to the point of trying to deceive voters shows some actual desperation. And of course, Clinton is still set to prevail--it's her nomination to lose. But if she wins, she's increasingly looking like she'll be a very lonely person. I think she should speak forcefully about what some of her surrogates are doing, but I'll freely admit that her actions so far have only helped my candidate.

(57,349 posts)The continued smears will be hard to live down when this is over.

It's also reminiscent of the photo debacle, where the reporter said the photographer didn't remember if it was Sanders, and the photographer said that the reporter lied about what he said in the interview.
